As we step into 2026, Dealers of Hope Foundation Tanzania is entering a new chapter—one shaped by growth, learning, and a deeper commitment to serving families with clarity and care.
Over the past two years, we have learned that meaningful impact does not come from reacting to needs alone. It comes from building thoughtful systems that allow us to respond with dignity, consistency, and intention.
That understanding has led us to a new structure—one designed to better support the families and communities we walk alongside, while also honoring the trust of those who choose to give.
A MORE INTENTIONAL WAY FORWARD
Beginning in 2026, our work is organized around two core pillars:
Family Adoption and Sponsorship
Targeted Community Initiatives
This structure allows donors to understand exactly how their support is used, while giving families the stability and respect they deserve.
ADOPTING FAMILIES: RELATIONSHIP OVER RESCUE
Our Family Adoption and Sponsorship approach centers on long-term relationship rather than one-time assistance.
Families featured through our Faces of Hope program are the families of guides, porters, cooks, drivers, and workers connected to Winrica Adventures—people who work hard every day to support their households and build a better future.
When donors choose to sponsor or adopt a family, their support may help with education, medical or emergency needs, housing improvements, or long-term stability goals unique to each family.
Families are supported until they reach a stable place or their fundraising goals are met. Once a family is fully sponsored, they are marked as such, and a new family or individual in need is introduced. This ensures our support remains dynamic, responsive, and equitable.
OUR 2026 INITIATIVES
In addition to family sponsorship, we have established several focused initiatives that address the most urgent and ongoing needs within our communities.
SCHOOL FEES FUND
Education remains one of the most powerful tools for breaking generational cycles of poverty. This fund helps cover primary and secondary school fees, tutoring, and educational support for children whose families cannot afford these costs alone.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL FUND
Medical emergencies often arise without warning. This fund allows us to respond quickly to urgent health needs such as surgeries, treatment, and essential medical care—without families having to face impossible choices alone.
MSHIRI PRIMARY SCHOOL FUND
This initiative supports educational access and infrastructure at Mshiri Primary School, helping ensure that children in the surrounding community have a safe place to learn and grow.
MAASAI VILLAGE WATER FUND
Access to clean water is foundational to health and dignity. This fund supports water access initiatives within our host Maasai village, addressing a critical need that impacts daily life, health, and education.
GENERAL FUND
Behind every successful initiative is strong operational support. Our General Fund helps keep the organization running by covering essential costs such as administration, accounting, compliance, documentation, storytelling, and community coordination. This fund ensures sustainability and accountability across all our work.
When donating through our website—whether via Chuffed, PayPal, Stripe, or Venmo—supporters may include a note indicating where they would like their donation directed. Options include a specific family or any of our initiative funds.
If no designation is noted, funds are applied where the need is greatest.
This approach allows every donor to give with intention, while giving us the flexibility to serve families responsibly and respectfully.

In 2025, because of the generosity of our Hope Dealers community, we were able to raise 9,700 dollars toward our long-term goal of 120,000 dollars. Every dollar represented trust, belief, and a shared commitment to walking alongside families with dignity and care.
These funds directly supported families, education, medical needs, and the systems required to serve our communities responsibly. We are deeply grateful to each person who gave, shared, encouraged, and stood with us throughout the year.
